Privacy notice

This notice explains how Şafak Taxi (“we”), a licensed taxi service in Kayseri, handles personal data under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). Last updated 1 Oct 2026.

What we receive

When you book by WhatsApp or phone: your name or the name you use, phone number, pickup hotel, destination, date and time, flight time or number, number of passengers and luggage, and anything else you write to us.

This website does not have a booking form and does not store your messages. The fare calculator runs in your browser. The WhatsApp message it prepares ends with a short source code (Ref) that shows which page the request came from.

The server that hosts this website keeps standard access logs, such as IP address and browser details, for security and technical operation.

Why we use it

To arrange and carry out your ride, contact you about it, and meet our legal obligations. The legal basis is the performance of the service you request and our legal obligations (KVKK Article 5/2-c and 5/2-ç).

Who else sees it

Messages you send by WhatsApp are processed by WhatsApp (Meta), including on servers outside Turkey; if you prefer not to use WhatsApp, you can call us. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else, except when required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep booking messages only as long as needed for the ride and any related questions, unless the law requires longer.

Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11 you can ask whether we hold data about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its use. Contact us by WhatsApp or phone at +90 533 383 85 46.
